Dear Fellow Resident,

I would like to thank all of the residents who supported me and worked in my re-election effort. It was a successful effort and I am proud of the way everyone conducted themselves these past few months.

I want to thank my fellow candidates for the way they conducted their campaigns. It was very clean and not over the top. I have no complaints and I can say that I am proud of those who represented my campaign. Downers Grove is better for clean campaigning and our residents have little tolerance when they suspect campaign shenanigans.

My Pledge is the same as it was four years ago. I Pledge to the residents of Downers Grove to be an honest, independent, full time, hard working Commissioner of Downers Grove. I will listen, be responsive and fully accountable to ALL of our residents.

There are some major challenges ahead and I strongly expect that there will be some disagreements. I will conduct myself with the honesty and integrity that I have always displayed. I am that, “…public servant who is in it for what can be accomplished.” 

Please join with me, Commissioner Schnell, and our new member, Bob Barnett, and other Council Members in doing what we can for our terrific community of Downers Grove.
